In this story a policeman helps the ducklings cross the street. We are always trying to encourage higher level thinking rather than just giving back information in the story, so the question was asked " What do you think the policeman might say to the ducks?" ( thinking, stop before you cross, look both ways, etc might be appropriate answers!) and one young man quickly piped up and said "License and registration please!" I wonder how many times mom or dad have been pulled over!
